Giclee Printing
Giclee (zhee-clay) is the most exciting and affordable means of reproducing artwork available today. The process of making a giclee involves acquiring a digital image of the artwork either by scanning or digitally photographing the original. Once the digital image is acquired, it undergoes a color correction process and is output to a high quality wide-format printer. Sweet Pixels uses the Epson 9600 printer with archival Ultrachrome inks. This pigmented ink is highly fade-resistant.
Digital images can be reproduced to almost any size and onto various media, giving the artist the ability to customize prints for a specific client. You may choose to print on matte paper, an acidfree fine art paper or on canvas, whichever you feel will most authentically reproduce the character of your original.
Giclee printing is all about ordering only what you need when you need it, eliminating the necessity of maintaining a closet full of unsold prints. The number of originals that you can paint in your lifetime is limited but the number of reproductions of those images that you can sell is unlimited!

Prices include digital photo or scan, color correction time and up to (2) 8 x 10 proofs. Additional proofs and color correction if requested billed at $25/half hour. Each additional proof is $6.50.
Printing
Enhanced matte: A heavy weight, neutral white matte paper engineered for accurate color reproduction that provides high contrast and high resolution output. This acid free paper is a perfect choice for photo reproductions. $6.50sqft (includes 1" printer margins)
Fine art paper: This is a 100% acid free neutral ph mould made paper. An excellent choice for all artwork, especially watercolor, pastel, and acrylics. $13.50sqft (includes 1" printer margins)
Canvas: This canvas has a matte finish which is water-resistant and offers brilliant color vibrancy. $14.50sqft (includes 2" printer margins for stretching) Protective UV coating is available for $1.50sqft.
